What do You Want from Forex Trading?

Becoming a successful trader is a great goal. By itself, it’s a rather meaningless goal if you don’t know what you want forex trading to do for you financially.

In the 90 day forex trading bootcamp, you’re going to learn how to trade profitably. But before you invest time getting good at forex trading online, I’d like you to ask yourself this question:

What Do I Really Want in Life?

It’s a valid question. It’s an easy question to avoid answering by just saying “I want to be rich” or “I want financial freedom.”

Even though I know you’re eager to learn more forex trading techniques (which are definitely covered on this blog & will be in the upcoming forex bootcamp), I’d like you to think about this and put your dreams of “forex glory” on hold for just a few minutes.

What’s the Point?

Making a lot of money is a great thing. We all need money to do what we want. But making money isn’t our true goal. What we really want is the freedom to do the things we want to do.

In fact, if there was a way for us to do everything we wanted without money, we wouldn’t really care about money!

Forex Trading is a Vehicle, Not a Destination

I LOVE forex trading because it’s one of the easiest ways to make money that I’ve ever learned. It’s great because if you can learn to make 100 pips a week, making $1 million will be as easy as making $100 once you grow into that level.

Forex trading is fun, but if it wasn’t an easy way to make money we’d all want to do other things instead.

The Million Dollar Question

I want to challenge you with a simple question. The question is easy, but the answer may not be easy.

Spend a few minutes and make a list of all the things you want to do with your life & all the things you’d like to have.

The only thing I don’t want you to put on the list is a dollar amount. $100 million is awesome, but what would you do with $100 million?

Spend a few minutes and write down the things you’d like to have & the stuff you’d like to do if you didn’t have to worry about money.  This can include tangible things like “my dream house”, “a certain car”, “a cool rare guitar”, or it can be intangible things like “more time with my family”, “the ability to travel”, “more time to think,” etc…

Be Specific. The more specific you make your list, the better this exercise will serve you.

Take the time to get clear about what you want. If you write this down, it will come in handy as I continue to share Forex Freedom with you :)

Great thought there..Brian, I absolutely agree with you.
I think with this we are starting on a good note. As a student of life, I have learned that the for ‘D’s of success are Desire, Diligence, Determination and Discipline.
These 4-Ds are the hallmarks of any successful achievement and I believe the road path to Financial Freedom via forex.

Absolutely true not lose sight of your ultimate goal (which once achieved, will surprise you of its value or lack therof). Forex has taught me immeasurably of my strengths, weaknesses and sharpened my determination towards my own goals. For that I will always be thankful. What I NEED from forex (and hopefully to be found in this trading group) is an HONEST and forthright assessment of the use of indicators, fibs, s/r lines in trading. There is an ocean of hype out there, most of it phoney and profit driven without substance. As someone who is a swing trader, this has been an uphill battle and I am largely self taught, having tested and discarded a mountain of useless trash on the aforementioned subject, even by using a live mini account (not MT). I will surely sing the praises of a forex educator that has the integrity to TEACH and PROVE trading methods without the usual hand in my pocket. My trust and recommendations (and from my trading colleagues) will far outweigh the quick buck for such an individual.

There are so many experiences and moments that I would like to have but I will cut the list short, so it is a quicker read for you. (Everyone wants things but I want experiences)

I would like to rooster at my daughters school to experience the growth she gets from learning.

I would like to take my wife to the different places around the world that I went to as a younger guy and watch the expression on her face as she experinces the same moments that I had on the same trips.

I would like to experience waking up with my wife and not having to both get up and go to work.

I would like to experience spending more time volunteering for the organizations that I volunteer at. And having the ability to donate more money to the goals of the organizations.

I want to experience the moment when you discover you will never have to worry about if you have enough money for that month.

Will your forex education/methods allow me to experience these moments?????????????????????????????

What I want from forex trading is to have the financial freedom everyday to do what I want, when I want and how I want! The financial ability to take care of my family health. The ability to pass on (legacy) forex trading to my grown children and as well as other family members. Most importantly is to not have to rely on anyone else where my next paycheck is coming from!

In general, the tangibles and the intangibles are the most
that I want to achieve. But, the one that I would not want
to be put aside is the challenge. The feeling of being challenge and getting through it is enough to get me in a
    happy atmosphere.

I’ve known the answer to this for a while now. I need to replace my current way of making a living, which is becoming increasingly difficult as I get older. I want to swing trade because I want to be able to spend my time on what are now mostly avocations: travel, music, and building musical instruments.

I’m burned out. My husband died. I work, have two children, have to shop, cook, laundry, house cleaning try to pay my bills, keeping up the lawn. What I want is some free time.
I want to learn Forex but having trouble concentrating and trying to remember it all with the small amount of time I have to try to learn it.
I wish I could get the 20 step Ecourse in one email because I can’t keep at it for 20 days in a row without losing my sanity with 2 kids running around.
I want to give them a good life that is why I want to learn it and start using it correctly. I dream of being able to take them to a place like Disney World for a week.
If your claims are true about making money with Forex it will be my dream come true because I can’t find any other way of not worrying everyday on what the next day will bring.
Financial freedom would be my dream come true. I could put my children through college when they are old enough.
I guess I have many dreams. I’ve been burned on a lot of make money schemes. This sounds like the right one.
If I can just find the time to learn it.
I dream of your 90 day boot camp but know my situation and know that doing it straight for 90 days is an impossiblity for me at this time.

I am not sure how to express in English but I will try…
What I really want in life? I just want to be happy, live a simple life and making my life more purposeful and meaningful.
I am satisfied with what I have, a simple house, a simple car, education, the material things that I need and that is enough for myself.
And I have a dream that I want to be able to help a lot more people other than my family who haven’t been able to grow up in the right circumstances who haven’t been given the same opportunities I’ve been privileged enough to receive. And I hope Forex trading can make my dream comes true because it is something that I am passionate about and I enjoy it so much that I can spend hours and hours watching and learning about it. I believe that my effort can make my dream comes true.

Kulvadee, you are my soul mate! I could not possibly state my desire for forex any better. I am 54 and in transition from the corporate world. I just want to meet my modest needs and have time with my grandsons (3 states away) and family and play in my organic garden. If GOD grants me more than that then I can serve Him more, I don’t need much.
